Hi, I’m Heather!
I am a User Experience Designer and a lifelong learner. Seriously, I get a little bored when I’m not learning something new. I think it’s why I had so many regrets about dropping out of school when I was 20. So when I turned 40, I decided to go back to school and earn my degree. No more regret and I finally have a career that I love and I am proud of: creating experiences that help people.
I’ve spent most of my life creating things, so design seemed like a natural fit. I love helping people. I get excited about solving complex problems through design. I do this by putting people first, by understanding what their wants and needs are. Creating solutions for people to make their lives better and brighter is what I love most about UX.
Lately, I’ve been geeking out about design systems and becoming a better storyteller. I’d love to hear from you and talk about what you are geeking out about in the design and UX world.
